Would you like to take responsibility for IT procurement in a global leading organization and to play a significant role in large-scale IT development and implementation projects?

Join us at the heart of procurement

At GN, we provide the world with intelligent audio solutions that let you hear more, do more and be more than you ever thought possible. As part of building solid IT procurement strategies, you will have the responsibility to engage and support our IT organisation in defining and executing fit for purpose procurement category plans. You will manage sourcing activities, ensuring best achievable commercial terms and supplier agreements as well as lead negotiations and support supplier management efforts within IT.

Take charge of your category
We are looking for a colleague with a heavy IT procurement toolbox as well as experience with procurement and sourcing of hardware, licenses and managed services. Someone with a strategic and at the same time operational mindset. You enjoy working on highly complex projects while rolling up your sleeves to perform more hands-on operational tasks.

You will have the end-to-end responsibility to manage and develop your category. Specifically, you will:
• Be key contact for all procurement related activities towards our IT organization.
• Support and provide recommendations to IT management in alignment with category plans, ensuring an always updated activity pipeline.
• Lead sourcing projects and contract negotiations in compliance with GN’s policies
• Develop and maintain category dash board and key facts and figures.

Be part of developing our Indirect Procurement function
Moreover, because we are a new team of 4 category managers with responsibility for our own indirect categories, there is the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of our procurement tools, processes and supporting systems.

Travelling may be expected approximately 15-20 days per year.

Experienced IT sourcing and procurement professional
You have solid experience with global procurement, IT sourcing and project management – perhaps as consultant or as part of a global organization.
