The Vendor and Contract Manager position is part of Group IT, which delivers IT services globally to all GN Group entities. You will be part of an IT organization with colleagues around the world although your main interaction will be with colleagues based in Denmark, the US and China.

The IT Vendor and Contract Manager role is accountable for providing excellent vendor performance, executing disciplines such as contract management, license management and asset management in close collaboration with managers in IT, Procurement and Finance.

As our IT Vendor and Contract Manager, you will own and maintain the overall portfolio of all supplier contracts. This includes ensuring compliance, controlling cost, enhancing operational efficiency by tracking and managing contracts and assets throughout their life cycles. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining robust processes for vendor portfolio management, including management decision framework.

Key responsibilities:
As our IT Vendor and Contract Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:
• Drive supplier portfolio convergence to enable cost efficiency
• Manage relationship with suppliers and be a part of relevant governance forums
• Provide input to the global Group IT sourcing strategy
• Ensure adherence to the procurement and contract management process, including related supplier evaluations and selections (RFx)
• Drive a consolidated financial overview for contracts and licenses on a monthly basis as well as provide solid input to the budget and forecast processes


Qualifications:
As a person, you are highly motivated and results-oriented, and you strive to excel together with colleagues. You have a solid understanding of vendor negotiations, contractual frameworks and processes as well as proven experience of setting the foundation and standards to ensure contract and software compliance.
In addition, you have strong project management and presentation skills as well as in-depth and solid analysis know-how. Finally, you have knowledge of and experience with software asset management as well as basic skills regarding technical platforms such as Microsoft and Oracle.
