The role of National Business Development Manager Video reports directly to the Managing Director- South Asia and is to develop a strategy and execution plan to deliver Jabra’s financial targets for video in South Asia. The BDM Video will be responsible for the execution plan for video and achieving the targets associated. The BDM Video will use all the resources at its disposal including all Jabra salespeople, marketing, alliance and support staff to execute the plan and achieve the targets. The BDM Video will be the ‘subject matter expert� for video in the South Asia region and will work closely with its counterparts in other countries for Named Partners, Enterprise and Distribution as well as the global video team to ensure Jabra sales, Marketing and Alliance teams are supported. The BDM Video will develop best practices for sales teams in demonstrating and delivering video solutions. The BDM Video role is a field-based position and will require significant travel and constant contact with the sales teams across the country, region as well as with Jabra HQ.

Business Development of Jabra’s new video business
� Develop and execute on a Video sales plan in South Asia
� To achieve the South Asia sales budget for video and to contribute to the South Asia and APAC & Global video sales target each financial cycle
� Maintain in depth product knowledge to support Sales, Marketing and Alliance teams on Jabra Video solutions and be fully aware of the competition and the sales arguments
� To proactively support Sales as the ‘Video Evangelist� in driving use cases by visiting Distributors, Partners and Customers to provide ‘subject matter expertise�, demonstrations and to deliver presentations
� To build and manage a strong relationship with AV consultants, AV System integrators, resellers, etc.
� To support at events, trade shows and webinars with specific input on Jabra’s Video solutions
� In conjunction with Product Marketing, to train internal and channel staff on Jabra Video products and be able to clearly expound the Jabra Video solution sales proposition
� To help each Jabra salesperson to develop and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities in CRM and to be review these opportunities daily
� To participate in the Jabra sales forecast process and have specific knowledge of all significant sales opportunities
� To liaise with Jabra Sales and End Customer Marketing teams to develop the propositions, campaigns and tools for Jabra Video solutions. This will involve being a Video industry ‘subject matter expert� for thought leadership in PR and on social media
� To help Sales prospect and develop new opportunities for Jabra Video solutions

Qualifications and Requirements
� A strong background and current experience in sales of audio video (AV) solutions and/or video conferencing ideally in the new ‘huddle� collaboration space
� A strong, broad knowledge and expertise in AV and videoconferencing products and sales propositions
� Demonstrate strong contacts and relationship with AV consultants, AV System Integrators, AV resellers, etc.
� Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics
� A degree level or equivalent qualification

� Proficiency and discipline in using CRM and Microsoft Office applications
� Fluency in spoken and written English

� Resourceful and dynamic with the ability to quickly problem solve while interacting with clients, and articulate those thoughts with clarity and professionalism, both verbally and in writing.
� Possess strong business and financial acumen
� Be prepared to travel extensively as and when necessary
