Our video journey

You will join Business Solutions at Jabra, part of GN Audio. As we have acquired Altia Systems, an innovative developer of premium video communications solutions, we have begun the journey to combine this advanced multi-camera technology with our intelligent audio solutions – letting our customers hear more, do more and be more than you ever thought possible.

Map out a business strategy – and follow it
You will develop a strategy and execution plan to meet Jabra’s financial targets for Video in EMEA central region. To execute your plan, you will have many resources at your disposal, including Jabra Sales, Marketing and Alliance. Moreover, you will work closely with your counterparts in the North and South regions as well as the global video team and Jabra HQ to gain support and inspiration.

You will also be ‘subject matter expert’ for Video in your area, which means your colleagues will draw on your expertise in the development of e.g. value propositions, thought leadership articles and other marketing purposes.

“One of your key challenges will be to translate and apply our existing material to Video and into value propositions adapted to our many different stakeholders – end users, resellers, complimentary vendors and so forth,” explains Gregor Knipper, Managing Director, EMEA central.

You will:
• Develop and execute a sales plan and contribute to setting up sales targets and forecasts
• Acquire and maintain in-depth product, competition and sales arguments knowledge
• Support Sales in visiting distributors, partners and customers to provide subject matter expertise and develop best practice for demonstrating the video solutions
• Train colleagues to be able to clearly expound the sales proposition for these products
• Liaise with Jabra EMEA Central Channel and End Customer Marketing teams to develop value propositions, campaigns, tools and marketing communications for Jabra Video solutions

This business development manager role is a field-based position and will require significant travel, with the key travel areas being Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You can be based from home.

You are eager to learn
You have an open mindset and are a fast and eager learner driven to embark on this business journey – and to do it in close and effective collaboration with many different internal stakeholders. You also have a track record of exercising sound, independent business judgments that benefit the business and the ability to problem solve on the spot while interacting with clients.

• You have degree level or equivalent qualification
• You have experience in and knowledge of sales of audio video (AV) solutions and/or video, video conferencing and sales propositions
• You have a good technical understanding and can demonstrate great business acumen
• You have experience using CRM and Microsoft Office applications
• You can communicate effectively in both speech and writing in German and English
