Training Director/Chief Audiologist

Job Summary:
The Position is located in Shanghai. It cuts across various vertical functions, and includes responsibilities in three main areas: Audiology training development, Business Development, KOL Engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Audiology training development
- Enhance in-house audiology expertise and training capability by leading the training team, especially in the areas such as clinical applications and benefits
- Develp and update reguarly training curriculum and content
- Act as the key speaker in important medical/audiological affairs, conferences, customer events, etc..
- Act as the main local interface with Global Audiology
- Audiology information and in-house expert: Source from Global and public domain key publications that have an impact on local market. Adapt relevant info for training or marketing use.

• Business Development:
- Lead business development projects with audiological & product innovation focus (e.g. Pediatric, Tinnitus, Wireless & Connectivity..) to pursue specific business objectives to fulfill or exceed business plan targets.
- End-to-end job responsibilities may include writing project plans and spearhead a multi-functional task force for successful field implementation.

• KOL Engagement
- Collaborate with Marketing to strengthen the Company’s relations and professional standing with key opinion leaders as an innovation and technology leader
- Support Marketing to sharpen competitive selling tools by translation of product technical features into user benefits

Personal Skills Requirements:
• Strong management skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Self-driven in a proactive manner and with good follow-up abilities
• Structured and analytic mind-set, fluent in both Chinese and English

Technical Skills Requirements:
• A trained audiologist with a recognized degree and professional certification
• Good understanding of Chinese audiology market preferably with prior on-the-ground experience in sales or marketing functions
• Possess established connections with key thought leaders in Chinese hospitals and Audiology Working Groups / Associations
