Provide product and software training in Japan
As our new field training specialist, you will be our first dedicated training specialist in Japan which means you will step into a role with a fair degree of attention. It also means that you will get to grow your skills as a trainer and develop your role within our organization.

Your key responsibility will be to provide product and software training to increase customer knowledge, skills and familiarity with the ReSound product lines. Travelling locally about 75% of your time, you will conduct and contribute to consumer education seminars, open houses and CEU seminars as well as ongoing in-clinic product training sessions. Moreover, you will:

• Support the sales of our products through training initiatives
• Conduct needs analyses to provide appropriate training solutions
• Regularly communicate with our Sales team in Japan to ensure that you design and deliver high-quality and impactful customer training
• Provide audiological support, including hearing aid fittings and troubleshooting assistance
• Represent ReSound through participation in national, state and regional meetings as well as playing a key role in the promotion and demonstration of products during launch trainings

The position is located in our Japanese office: Nishi-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa 220-0012.

You will join an international team, reporting to our general manager in Japan and consulting with senior audiologists in Denmark and the US. Moreover, you will interact with a variety of departments, including Marketing, Sales, Customer Services, Product Management, Technical Support as well as R&D.

We use principles from Adult Learning theories to build effective and impactful training experiences. By listening to our customers, we continue to challenge ourselves and transform the way we teach.

Hearing aid industry experience and fluent in Japanese
Travelling extensively within your region, you must be able to maintain your own schedule while working closely with several assigned Sales teams. Moreover, you have great communication skills, allowing you to share knowledge across functions as well as cultures. Training experience will be considered a plus.

• You have experience from the hearing aid industry – perhaps as a speech language pathologist or as a specialized dispenser.
• You are fluent in both English and Japanese.
