Acoustics and Digital Sound Processing
Depending on your strengths, you will join one of our 2 departments Acoustics or Digital Sound Processing. Combined, the departments consist of 27 engineers and technicians, 3 of which are based in China. Together, we are responsible for creating the top-notch sound in all the Jabra products. This means that we have to be agile, cover multiple subject areas and work closely together to achieve the best results.

Create amazing audio products for customers worldwide
Our product portfolio currently consists of headsets, speaker phones, wireless speakers, headphones and other hands-free audio products. Working within cross-functional project teams, you will be creating top-notch audio products – and follow them until they are introduced to worldwide customers.
This entails being responsible for the design, implementation and validation of the audio solutions. Additionally, you will become a key stakeholder in the development of methodologies and the innovation of audio technologies.

Your main tasks will be to:

• Specify audio performance requirements in close cooperation with product managers
• Address and solve interesting acoustic challenges due to each product’s size constraint and mobility
• Develop, port, fit and tune platform audio algorithms into product specific hardware
• Drive one or more initiatives related to methodology improvements

Are you specialised in DSP software and electro-acoustics?
• You hold an MSc, a PhD or equivalent and are specialised in DSP software and/or electro-acoustics
• You have experience in embedded firmware/DSP development environment, using Matlab, C and Assembler
• You have experience in design, modeling, implementation and validation of audio solutions as well as experience in acoustics lab equipment and test methods
• You have strong tuning, testing and debugging skills on embedded target hardware
• You speak and write English effortlessly

In this position, you must be passionate about quality and the use of best practices and methodologies. In addition, you have to be a strong team player with good communication and cooperation skills.
