Be part of a the Jabra product management team
Reporting into the Senior Director, Product Management Execution, you will become a key member of our Product Management team within the GN Audio Product Management group. The Product Management Execution team drives product making from New Product Development to Launch and eventually End-of-Life activities.

As the Director, Product Management JDM, a new role in the Product Management team, you will have a major impact of Jabra products introduced to the global market. The position is based out of Hong Kong from where we run our joint development mode (JDM) operation together with our partners in Asia.

Drive JDM Product Development
In corporation with the Senior Director, Product Management Execution, you will be responsible for managing the JDM products in the Jabra product portfolio. Specifically, you will be taking over JDM product making responsibility, drive the program in cooperation with the Program Manager towards Business Case approval decision presented to our senior leadership forum called Product Portfolio Board (PPB) and ultimately bring the product to market.

In the JDM set-up you will drive maximal impact on our business through products that add value to the Jabra portfolio, build brand recognition and attract new users. You will be able to visualize and clarify the opportunities, handle the challenges and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.

You will work closely with various internal functions such as R&D, Business Management and Product Marketing.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensure we deliver products and experiences that are on-brand, deliver a great user experience at the agreed quality, and deliver on cost and timeline targets
• Develop and drive decisions on product priorities and product decisions in the program
• Lead business case development and assist in volume/price/cost decisions
• Assess competitive threat and opportunity and turn the insights into product decisions that drive the success for the product
• Be the voice of the customer and business during the product development process
• Drive program prioritizations together with R&D/project Manager.
• Establish effective working relationships with all stakeholders and ensure effective communication through the line.

• You are a passionate product leader and you pride your focus on experience and quality. You have successfully brought winning products to market, and your colleagues can describe your impact to the success of those products.
• Strong consumer/user and business understanding and the ability to drive concrete product decisions from those insights
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills; ability to present/communicate information to an audience within the organization (including senior leadership)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization. Can define and articulate plans for others to meet goals and deadlines.
• Proven ability to thrive and drive a JDM set-up to build and execute product making is a strong plus
• Fluent in English (company language) and preferably strong in Chinese (Mandarin)
• You have a Master’s degree - in Engineering or from a Business School
• You have 5+ years’ experience in product management and project management skills from an international company
