Do you understand analogue circuits, and are you interested in very advanced low power design?

Joining our analogue IC team, you get to work with and learn from specialists in IC design, audio processing, radio systems and 3D integration. So grab this opportunity to work with great colleagues to define, design, implement and verify the GN programmable DSP platform with 2.4GHz wireless communication capabilities.

We know sound
At GN Hearing, we are known for great sound quality, design and technology excellence as well as meaningful solutions that help people with hearing challenges rediscover hearing.

ReSound, which is part of GN Hearing, was the first company launching a made-for-iPhone® hearing aid, and we are working on new and award-winning solutions. And at our HQ in Ballerup, Denmark, you will join our IC team that develops chipsets and creates leading edge ASIC design.

Create analogue designs in nanometer CMOS technologies
Becoming a part of the analogue team, you will create extremely low power solutions for our hearing aids. In this role, you will:

• Design Ultra-Low-Power analog-mixed circuits (DC-DC converters, battery management, data converters, frequency synthesis, radio front-ends, analog enablers for ULP digital cores)
• Make specification for ICs with system architects
• Work on analogue-mixed simulation on circuit and system level (Spectre-Incisive)
• Circuit layout & verification (Virtuoso, Calibre)
• Circuit high-level modelling for system integration (Verilog-A)
• Work on lab evaluation & characterisation of ICs (automation in Python/Tcl)
• Make wafer test specification
• Take part in continuous improvement of CAD flow

Help us make life sound better
Joining the IC team, you become part of a dynamic group of colleagues consisting of 25 development engineers team with different levels of experience. Every day, we work together, combining talents to make life sound better through innovative low power chipsets. Working together to achieve the best results, we continuously learn from each other through knowledge sharing and feedback. Thus, you will have ample opportunity to develop and grow your skills in an international and professional work environment.

Open personality and experience with circuits
On a personal level, you have excellent interpersonal and communicational skills enabling you to work with colleagues cross-functionally. Giving and receiving feedback is part of your team player mentality and with a can-do attitude, you are focused on problem-solving and achieving the best results. Moreover you:

• Hold a master’s qualification or a PhD in electronics engineering with emphasis on IC design, and you probably have a few years of industrial experience
• Preferably have some years of experience in CMOS analogue, transistor level design, circuit simulation & layout in EDA tools environment (Cadence and/or Mentor Graphics)
• Have knowledge of CMOS fabrication basics
• Have some scripting skills to collect and analyse simulation or test data
• Might have knowledge of sampled signal modelling & analysis (Matlab, Python) – it is a plus, not a requirement
• Are comfortable with writing and speaking English
