GN Audio, Jabra is looking for a highly skilled marketing professional to join their Retail & Online Channel Marketing team to plan & execute sell-out focussed marketing programmes & campaigns with key retail partners across the MEA region.

As part of the Retail & Online Team you will work closely with local sales account management to drive visibility, recommendation & the promotion of the Jabra line-up of Bluetooth™ wireless headphones, headsets & earbuds with identified priority retail channels across the region (both brick & mortar retail and online only). You will be based from the newly opened GN Audio, Jabra regional office in Dubai and will be a key part of a global virtual team. Your reporting line will be to the Senior Director, Head of Retail & Online Marketing based partly in Copenhagen and London.

Job responsibilities
The role requires you to lead the execution of retail & online channel marketing in the MEA region.
Main responsibilities include:
- Execution of the central channel marketing plan in region, working directly with CE retailers and in conjunction with distributor partners to own & drive activities such as in-store displays & education, to-channel and through-channel communications, co-op sell-out campaigns and online initiatives
- Working hand in hand with local sales account teams to develop & execute specific sell-out plans for priority partners aligned to the central marketing plan priorities
- Own and drive the marketing relationship with priority retail partners, and negotiate & execute the best in-store & online experience possible for Jabra
- Identify new opportunities for retail excellence within your priority partners to drive additional sell out
- Together with distributor partners, plan & deliver co-op digital campaigns with retail partners and ensure that Jabra presence is maximized online within partner e-shops/e-commerce sites (whether Jabra brand pages, optimized product pages or inclusion in partner online campaigns)
- Through marketing efforts & relationship building, create Jabra brand ambassadors within the channel to help tell the brand story and drive sell through
- Manage & negotiate on BDF fund for the region
- Execution of limited end customer activities as required e.g. regional PR & partner events
- Report on retail/online marketing execution and performance against agreed metrics on a monthly basis & attend EMEA Quarterly Business Reviews as MEA Marketing lead

Preferred profile
We expect that you have the following competencies and experience:
- At least 8 years’ experience of working in B2C channel marketing & in-depth understanding of the retail channel landscape across UAE and MEA
- Knowledge of the consumer electronics or telecomms market
- Solid experience of working in a regional marketing organization, ideally holding a local or regional role
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to budget
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience of working with distributor partner teams to plan & execute channel campaigns
- Experience of managing MDF or similar marketing funding programmes
- The ability to work and negotiate within a matrix organisation
- Fluent in English and Arabic (both written and verbal). French is an advantage but not required
- Customer centric approach to marketing with a strong knowledge of the sales process and understanding of current trends in the marketplace
- Experience of setting-up and executing online/digital marketing campaigns & /or maximizing online brand presence with key retailer partners
- Passion for marketing and delivering best in class results for regional sales and marketing
- Travelling to partner locations across the MEA region for customer meetings (as well as semi-regular EMEA travelling to attend internal meetings).
