Interim Brand and Project Manager

GN Store Nord
Ballerup - Denmark
Published: March 01, 2018
GN’s Group Brand Manager is going on maternity leave, so we are looking for a one-year replacement to assist us in governing our brand as well as managing some major, strategic projects. You will be working closely with the Group Communication team and with the Group’s two brand and marketing departments in GN Audio and GN Hearing – and you will report to the VP Group Communication.

GN’s vision is to be the global leader in intelligent audio solutions that transform people’s lives through the power of sound. We develop and manufacture innovative and intelligent audio solutions that are marketed in 100 countries across the world. GN has a unique portfolio of hearing aids and headset solutions, and is leading major technology shifts with industry-first innovations within our core competencies of sound processing. We are an ambitious and high-performing team that live by our values: we listen, we challenge, and we transform.

As Group Brand and Project Manager you will, among other, be instrumental in driving the below strategic projects:
Support & secure corporate branding - support and provide guidance in building the ‘One GN’ brand experience. Assist in further developing and executing the GN thought-leader and story-telling program.
Brand guardianship & guidance - follow up with relevant stakeholders to secure the implementation of appropriate corporate signage. Continuously update and design (new) GN-templates to match business needs, listening to feedback from the organization, and improving current practices. Support knowledge sharing and alignment between the marketing departments of GN Audio and GN Hearing. Continuously support the businesses in how to apply brand guidelines, including advising new business units on how to apply the guidelines in their marketing materials and communication etc.
Project lead 150-year anniversary - plan the effective and creative execution of all activities related to GN’s 150 Anniversary celebrations in 2019. A large “cook book” is currently being developed, and you will be the core project leader for a multitude of activities to be further developed and planned in 2018 and executed in 2019.

Your profile:
High level of self-drive and motivation – you will need to navigate your way around many stakeholders across our global business and maintain your pace even when other people may not always prioritise you.
Collaborative influencing skills – you will have to make things happen through your power of collaboration and influencing skills, rely on your ability to get people on your side and secure resources and support.
Curiosity and creativity – you will have to be able to get new creative ideas and make them come alive – either through your own hands-on skills or via partners. We prefer that you can do a lot yourself, as we don’t like huge agency bills: it may look expensive, but it doesn’t always have to be. We all have a hands-on, can-do attitude that you need to supplement with your skills.
Results-oriented and systematic – you will need to also have the brain of a project leader with the ability to plan, follow-up and get things done – on time and budget.
English not for beginners – our company language is English and many of your primary stakeholders do not speak Danish, so your verbal and written English must be at a high level. Preferably, you also at least do understand Danish.
Your education and experience – probably a business school background with experience from working at an event- or advertising agency is an advantage. And needless to say, you master all standard Microsoft Office tools, and do have a knack for not only making good content, but also make it look nice and professional.

We would like you to join us on June 1 and stay with us until June 15, 2019.
