Would you like to be part of our GN Hearing team together with professional colleagues in a small team working dedicated on new use of our existing low power technology in new innovative products?

Job responsibilities
As our new Electronics Technician, you will be part of the Strategic Project department, developing HW and SW for low power communication. The team is a small cross-functional team, which is able to execute projects fast, as all needed product development competencies are available directly within the team (Acoustics, SW, HW and Mechanical engineers). All work will be done in a project oriented development culture, collaborating with the team members in the strategic project team as well as with specialist from other areas of GN.

You will take part of all R&D development phases and you to assist the engineering team in various tasks, such as making cables, connectors and other simple interface electronics. I.e. you will have close cooperation with engineers with the specification and also be able to work independently executing the tasks.
As we are making many different configurations, you will also be managing all our accessory prototypes.
You will actively be assisting in making different test set-up as well as test executing and reporting.

Preferred candidate
We expect that you have experience with the following:
• Micro electronic soldering task. Cables, connectors and components.
• Prototype management of accessories.
• Purchase of consumables.
• Assistance of the engineering team in creating simple electronical interfaces.
• Assistance of the engineering team with test method development.
• Test execution, logging of test results and reporting.
• Specific knowledge of physical cables, EMC-shielding is beneficial.
• Interface to suppliers.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• You speak, read and write English.
