This position is part of the Hardware Platform group, which is cross functional a department within GN Hearing Global R&D and is a cross functional group that support Global R&D and Global Operations among others, with a wide range of technical services. The Hardware Platform group works within different areas and consist of Qualification testing, Project management, Electrical and acoustic test systems, mechanical designs and production processes as well as a range of technology projects researching new technological opportunities to benefit our end users.

Job responsibilities
The department consist of a small team of engineers and technicians supporting each other and with the sole purpose to strive for the best quality and reliability of the products developed.
As out new Reliability Technician, your specific responsibilities will be to:
• Plan and execute Qualification testing according to various corporate procedures
• Logging of test results and reporting
• Minor DFX build / soldering task – not a requirement
• Assisting the engineering team in test method development
• Assisting other groups in R&D with test performance
• Purchase of consumables
• Maintenance of our laboratory

Preferred candidate
We are looking for a person who have the following profile – a background as technician is not a necessity:
• You are result oriented
• You value quality and can spot mistakes
• You appreciate repetitive tasks
• You see the benefit of thorough reporting of mistakes to obtain good reliability
• You can work independently
• You must expect to work using microscope for many of the different tasks
• You have experience with communication of projects, results and initiatives internally.
• You have experience in working according to strict procedures and guidelines.
• Experience in test exposure and handling is preferred, but not required.
• You have experience with MS Office
• You can manage the English language on a professional level, written and verbally
