GN Group is looking for a skilled and versatile Risk & Compliance Officer for a position in the parent company of GN – a global market leader within smart hearing aids and integrated headset and communications solutions.

You will play a key role in our efforts to further develop and anchor GN’s business ethics compliance program and its enterprise risk management in the global organization. You will be part of a dedicated and hard-working team supporting management in identifying, assessing and responding to key business and compliance risks across the company.

Your key responsibilities and tasks
• Support GN in minimizing the risk of non-compliance with anti-corruption legislation and other business ethics requirements around the world
• Drive various cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing our compliance risk assessment framework, due diligence and related controls
• Conduct compliance reviews or audits in selected GN subsidiaries or business areas
• Handle and investigate incoming whistleblower complaints
• Support selected business areas in identifying, assessing and mitigating key business risks on an ongoing basis
• Conduct interviews and facilitate workshops as needed in order to create new risk insights and facilitate decision-making on mitigating actions
• Participate in the preparation of ongoing risk reporting to executive management and the board of directors

Educational background
The person we are looking for has a relevant master's degree (e.g. business law, auditing, international business, political science or similar)

Key technical skills
• At least 5 years of professional experience and 3 years of experience within business ethics compliance and/or enterprise risk management, or alternatively a related field such as internal auditing or CSR/Sustainability. Most likely you have gained that experience from a consulting firm, an audit firm or from a comparable role with a large international company (experience from the medical devices or pharma industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite)
• Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to communicate effortlessly and precisely in English, both orally and in writing
• Knowledge of auditing approaches and methods
• Sharp analytical skills
• Strong facilitation skills, e.g. ability to plan and run effective interviews and workshops with participants with diverse cultural and professional backgrounds

Key personal and organisational skills
• Strong general business acumen and strategic mindset - plus ability to find practical and realistic solutions to complex challenges
• Able to listen to the needs and concerns of your stakeholders while also having the courage and clout to challenge their opinions and transform established ways of working where needed
• Strong ability to win other people’s trust and build relations through professional competence, empathy, cultural sensitivity and high ethical standards
• Interacts skillfully at all levels of the organization
• Proactive and action-oriented

The position is based at our corporate headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark, and will include some international travelling.
