Our new senior project manager provides leadership in communication, coordination, control and successful completion of highly complex, cross-disciplinary product development projects within the electro-acoustic and mechanical area. The project manager serves as a liaison between the project and the overall program, and ensures project execution is done in compliance with GN ReSound practices, process, quality system and regulatory requirements.

Your main responsibilities will be:
• Lead projects with high degree of technical complexity, leading through uncertainty with confidence
• In cooperation with Global Marketing, understand and provide guidance to team on requirements for project scope.
• Create an efficient/effective project structure that executes efficiently with limited direct oversight
• Work with technology architects and system engineers to ensure technical and system integration perspectives and delivery focus
• Ensure team alignment of purpose, goals, expectations and individual contributions; provide empowerment, guidance, motivation and role model behavior
• Balance needs across the R&D, Global Marketing and Global Operations groups to ensure optimal project output
• Demonstrate leadership in serving as a role model and mentor, inspiring colleagues to attain goals and pursue excellence

Your daily work will be:
• Planning and execution of highly complex projects
• Ensure effective and efficient completion of projects in compliance with GN ReSound practices, process, quality system and regulatory requirements
• Secure and lock requirements; employ effective change control relative to baselines
• Monitor risks; create and report on risk profile, mitigations and issues across project; utilize technical knowledge to assess risk level
• Monitor project progress using measurable controls and report status in relevant fora and systems
• Interface with technology partners and vendors as needed
• Estimation and tracking of project budgets
• Maximize project value through understanding and recognizing business drivers and value implications in balancing risk, cost, scope and timeline
• Proactive, empathetic interaction and communication with stakeholder at all levels across the organization
• Communicate project status, decision requests and risks/issues upward to Program and Senior Management with clarity and confidence; advise and influence decision making by presenting options and recommending actions
• Demonstrate proactivity and self-drive; instill and exhibit a sense of urgency
• Contribute to best practice within project management
• Participate in cross program/project coordination
• Identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate constructive suggestions for change

Your success criteria’s are:
• Successfully deliver project scope within budget at committed time and in quality
• Effective risk management and mitigation – handles risk/issues with minimal impact on scope/schedule/cost/quality
• Creates motivated effective teams that cooperate well across the organisation
• Strong stakeholder management allowing senior management to have confidence in execution, progress and deliverables.
• Showing ability to understand complex systems with an increasing content of SW

Skills and experiences:
• Master level education preferably within engineering.
• PMI certification within project management
• 10+ years industry experience in project management of complex systems with proven track record
• Preferably, experience from medical device industry, acoustic and mechanical system design.
• Passionate about quality and the use of best practices and methodologies
• Strong team player with good communication and cooperation skills
• Fluent in English
